Staff Financial Analyst

Job Description

• The Staff Accountant will assist in the fiscal year-end close process and provide backup for payroll manager during vacation or other absence periods.
• Responsibilities include reviewing agency account balances, performing analysis on overspent accounts, and communicating with departmental staff to bring the accounts into balance.
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and 2 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong prioritization skills to consistently meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to use financial systems and information.
• Strong proficiency of Microsoft software, particularly Excel.
