traditional teller duties. Responsible for identifying customer needs, recommending products, opening
accounts, and delivering a personalized banking experience while supporting branch operations with
routine financial transactions.

A Universal Banker’s primary responsibility is customer service. Universal Bankers must be
knowledgeable about a range of bank operations and be able to answer any questions a customer
has. Other duties and responsibilities may include:
- Handle deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, applications, and other routine banking
transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Open, update, and maintain customers’ accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory
requirements.
- Advise customers on banking products and services, cross-sell products to enhance customer
engagement and branch growth.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly while maintaining high service
standards.
- Assist with branch operations, including cash drawer management, vault balancing, ATM
servicing, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Review checks, verify endorsements, and ensure the legality and accuracy of financial
documents.
