St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for a highly motivated House Attendant who will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, guest corridors, and associate workspaces in accordance with the Hotel’s standards.
Essential Job Functions:
- Clean all mirrors, counter tops, windowsills, A/C vents, brass, elevator doors and tracks, signs, and displays on all floors as assigned on a daily basis.
- Empty all trash and linen bags periodically during each 8-hour shift.
- Assist with supply receiving/stocking – including lifting boxes and/or buckets up to 50 lbs.
- Operate buffer machines when assigned to polish and/or strip floors.
- Deliver and pick-up all guest requested items within 10 minutes.
- Sweep and mop assigned service areas and linen closet floors daily.
- Clean vending machines and floors in vending areas.
- Supply linen for Room Attendant carts as needed.
- Maintain standard number of supplies in linen closet.
- Move furniture as assigned in rooms, transport rollaway beds, and turn mattresses.
- Report damage to property and report needs to immediate supervisor.
- Empty trash in public areas, Front Desk, Concierge, and bar area.
- Check all exterior of Hotel for trash, wall marks, etc.
- Sweep/mop all stairwells and service elevator landings as assigned.
- Stock Housekeeping carts with supplies and assist other Housekeepers with VIP rooms.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must be detail oriented and well-organized. Ideal candidate should possess strong multi-tasking abilities and must work well as part of a team.
- Previous Housekeeping experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Open availability is required. Interested candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays.
