The Patient Satisfaction Survey Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Press Ganey database to ensure CMS compliance, installing, configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing Press Ganey database performance. In addition, this position will collect, review, and report patient experience data to find trends, measure performance, and identify opportunities for improvement in quality initiatives in collaboration with the Department Managers and Director.
Bachelor’s degree in computer and information technology or related field; or equivalent experience (8 years of experience and deep understanding of database administration concepts; certifications such as DBA (Database Administrator) is a plus). Master’s Degree preferred. Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations (CMS, HIPAA). Knowledge of the Microsoft suit programs. Proficient in Excel to include Dashboards, Power Query, Pivot Tables, Slicers, and VBA (visible basic application). Access experience with query writing and data mining. Experience with SQL programming for Cerner system. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies.
