Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the facility.
- Ensure that all charted activity progress notes are informative and descriptive of the services provided and indicate the resident's response to the service.
- Assist in preparing activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs.
- Assist in cleaning up activity areas after completing activity functions.
- Accurately document recreation therapy interventions for patients to support insurance billing and facilitate proper claims submission.
Requirements and Qualifications
- TRT license preferred but not required at time of hire
- Must be available to work every Saturday
- Ability to walk extensively throughout a large facility and perform moderate lifting and physical tasks
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
- All applicants must pass a background check and employment verification check
