Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and other appropriate behavioral assessments.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based behavior treatment plans.
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services consistent with client needs and treatment goals.
- Monitor client progress through ongoing data collection and analysis.
- Modify treatment interventions based on clinical data and demonstrated outcomes.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to assigned behavioral health staff, as applicable.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, healthcare providers, and other members of the treatment team.
- Provide caregiver training and support to promote treatment consistency across environments.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
- Maintain compliance with applicable professional, ethical, licensing, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain productivity and billable-hour expectations while prioritizing quality and ethical service delivery.
- Utilize telehealth technology effectively to provide accessible behavioral health services.
- Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and ongoing development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Ability to meet applicable Virginia licensure requirements, including LBA requirements where applicable.
- Experience providing ABA or behavioral health services.
- Strong clinical documentation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to provide services both in person and through telehealth.
- Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Experience with caregiver training and consultation.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary behavioral health teams.
