Part-Time, 1 Day per Week, Rotating Schedule
St. Joseph Residence in Manchester, NH is seeking a Part-Time Life Enrichment Assistant to join our mission-driven team. This position is one day per week with a two-week rotating schedule.
Schedule
- Week 1: Saturday
- Week 2: One weekday of the employee’s choice (Tuesday–Friday)
St. Joseph Residence is a 22-bed long-term care community serving the Presentation of Mary Sisters and is proudly part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire.

Position Summary;
The Activity Aide supports our Life Enrichment program by assisting with engaging, meaningful activities that promote the social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our residents. You’ll help create moments of joy, connection, and purpose in a small, peaceful long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and lead group and individual activities
- Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships
- Provide one-on-one engagement for residents who benefit from extra support
- Help set up and clean up activity spaces and supplies
- Support programs aligned with residents’ care plans
- Document resident participation as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with seniors preferred (but not required)
- Compassionate, patient, and engaging personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including Saturdays
