St. Joseph's Center is looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team! The Maintenance Worker will play an important role in keeping our facilities safe and well-maintained to support our residents and staff. This position offers an opportunity to make a difference by supporting an organization dedicated to serving others.
This position is full time 1st shift position. Occasionally employee may be asked to cover a 2nd, 3rd, or weekend shift. The position involves maintenance of buildings, grounds, and company vehicles as directed by a maintenance supervisor

What You'll Do
- Perform general maintenance and custodial duties across buildings and grounds
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations quickly and efficiently
- Use and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and properly
- Identify and report repair needs or safety concerns
- Assist with skilled work such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs
- Help maintain building security, including checks of doors, windows, and grounds
- Support cleanliness by handling trash removal and supply deliveries
- Assist with boilers, generators, and other facility systems as needed
- Work with outside vendors and help order supplies when needed
- Attend trainings and work as part of a respectful, team-focused environment

What’s Required of You
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school training
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or carpentry work
- Valid PA Driver’s License
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently
- Ability to stand for long periods and stay active throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and perform physical tasks as needed
