Assistant Director of Development

Saint Joseph's Center is looking for an Assistant Director of Development. In this role, you will help grow and steward donor relationships, support dynamic events and appeals, and bring our story to life through marketing, communications, and community engagement.

What You’ll Do:
- Support all aspects of fund development including donor retention, stewardship, identifying prospective donors, and maintaining accurate records in donor management software.
- Assist with the production of newsletters, brochures, annual reports, videos, and social media content, working closely with the Marketing Assistant to promote the Center's mission.
- Help coordinate and staff key events with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
- Build and maintain relationships with external volunteers, community groups, corporate partners, and local, regional, and state legislators to advance the Center's advocacy and funding goals.
- Assist the Auxiliary with event planning, festival mailings, and managing online auction platforms such as Click Bid to maximize fundraising outcomes.
- Serve as a resource for the Foundation's planned giving initiatives including wills, bequests, and charitable remainder trusts while staying current on relevant IRS rules and regulations for nonprofit organizations.

What’s Required of You:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fund development
- Prior successful experience in fundraising
- Valid PA Driver’s License
