- Position Summary
- Supervises oncology medical practices, including working with managers and staff at assigned practice sites. Stays abreast of all State and Federal rules & regulations, as they relate to the clinical and administrative segments of the practice. Functions as an Oncology Management liaison to St. Joseph/Candler's Ambulatory Oncology services. Responsibilities include oversight of practice operations, management of staff, analyzes practice operations and workflows, attends routine staff meetings, assists with implementation of new practice projects and workflows and reports updates regularly to the Director of Operations and Physician Practices.

- Works closely with Oncology leadership in developing efficient daily operations that are standardized and patient centric across the service line. Ensures coworkers are delivering high quality patient care.
- Assists leaders with departmental budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility in all practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data and optimize program performance, while implementing plans to achieve the service line's goals and objectives
- Complete and/or assists with evaluations of coworkers and ensures appraisals are completed on time. Closely monitors retention and adequate staffing levels of practices. Foster a positive work environment and promote operational process improvement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and delegate tasks effectively.
- Participates actively as a team leader and provides leadership to the department in the absence of the Director or practice leader. Demonstrates expertise in all aspects of software, office operations and billing of procedures. Completes administrative tasks timely.
