What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Cook - Full-Time Day/EveningShift/64 Hours Per Pay Period position at St. Joseph Residence, Inc.?
This is a Full-Time Day/Evening Shift position which works 10:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Schedules include every other weekend and every other holiday. This position has 64 hours in a 2 week pay period.
St. Joseph Residence is adding new positions to our team and is seeking caring, compassionate, and responsible team members to join our team as a certified nursing assistant at our 50-bed skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for prepping, preparing, and serving high-quality meals for our residents. Setting and clearing dining room tables and washing dishes.
Other duties:
- Prepare food so that quality, temperature, and food appearance are preserved
Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and follow food safety guidelines
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team
Previous experience in long term care preferred, but will train someone who possess the above-mentioned skills
Must be punctual and have a good attendance history
