Job Summary
To provide noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests for patients with known or suspected heart disease. Perform EKGs, stress tests, holter and event monitoring.
Essential Functions
- Performs and edits EKGs.
- Performs exercise stress tests.
- Instructs patients age appropriately and preps patient.
- Locates patient in hospital information system.
- Utilizes MUSE to locate a patients and retrieve reports.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role (preferred)
Licenses/Certification
- Certified EKG Technician (CET) - Preferred
Experience
- One year experience as an EKG Tech - Preferred
