Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to):
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage hospital operations during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Act as the primary point of contact for staff and physicians for administrative decisions.
- Staff Coordination:
- Allocate nursing resources based on patient acuity and census.
- Assist with staffing adjustments and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Clinical Leadership:
- Support nursing teams in delivering safe, high-quality care.
- Respond to emergencies and critical incidents, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
- Compliance & Quality:
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control practices.
- Monitor patient flow and bed availability to optimize admissions and transfers.
- Communication:
- Serve as liaison between departments, physicians, and administration.
- Document significant events and decisions in shift reports.

- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
