Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to):
- Prepare and educate patients for cardiac catheterization and other specialized procedures. Monitor vital signs and procedural outcomes to deliver optimal care.
- Collaborate with physicians and technologists to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures. Maintain sterility and proper equipment functioning.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diligently document care plans, procedural outcomes, and patient progress in accordance with hospital policy.
- Act swiftly in emergency situations, utilizing ACLS protocols to manage potential cardiac complications during procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, technicians, and other nursing staff, to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Counsel patients and families about procedural details, post-procedure care, potential risks, and lifestyle modifications for better cardiac health.

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) license required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintained current
- Current ACLS certificates upon hire and maintained current
- One (1) year of clinical experience in a cardiovascular lab doing cardiac work or in a critical care area is required.
