Essential duties include:
- Manage all aspects of the patient intake process including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources
- Respond to customer requests and concerns
- Manage the insurance verification and authorization process
- Organize work and complete assignments in a timely manner
- Schedule patient visits and follow up on patient issues and MD orders
Qualifications:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Louisiana
- Hospice experience required
- Strong Hospice experience in order to supply support in qualifying appropriate patient during intake process
- Professional behavior to have clinically supportive conversations with patients and families to create an ease in the hospice admission process
