After School Program Staff Needed

Job Title: Afterschool Program Staffer Location: Saint Joseph Elementary School Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Type: Part-Time, $16.00/hour Overview Saint Joseph Elementary School is seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible individual to join our afterschool team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children in a supportive, faith-based environment and wants to make a meaningful impact during the critical afterschool hours. 🎯 Responsibilities - Supervise and engage students in grades PreK–8 during afterschool hours - Lead and assist with activities such as arts and crafts, games, homework help - Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all children - Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and fellow staff - Assist with snack distribution and cleanup - Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports - Uphold school policies and values in all interactions 👤 Qualifications - Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage groups of children with patience and positivity - Must pass a background check and complete required training 💡 What We Offer - A welcoming and supportive school community - Opportunities for professional development - The chance to make a real difference in students’ lives
