Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Per Diem (8 hour shifts)

St. Joseph's Center is looking for flexible LPN's interested in per diem 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) nursing position at our Main Center in Scranton.

What You’ll Do
- Provide direct nursing care and health monitoring for residents.
- Administer medications accurately and monitor for side effects.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with ICF/ID regulations.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (hygiene, dressing, feeding).
- Accompany residents to medical and dental appointments.
- Respond to health emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in care planning.
- Maintain adequate medical supplies and equipment.
- Support residents in community activities and outings.

What’s Required
- Current LPN license in Pennsylvania
- CPR certification
- Valid PA driver’s license
- Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to lift/move 25–50 lbs and assist with transfers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
