Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support food running and serving efforts by delivering orders promptly to guests and ensuring accuracy
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, and ingredients following safe lifting practices
- Buss tables and clear dining areas efficiently to keep the restaurant tidy and welcoming
- Operate POS systems
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
