Objective:
Responsible for the inspection and packing of bags as they come off the machine.
Major Scope and Functions:
· Pack bags at machine, working with operator to identify product defects.
· Check quality of converted product against order specification sheets.
· Watch for and remove product with defects.
· Account for quantity of product produced on daily reports.
· Place the correct labels on cartons before putting in the finished goods.
· Make up wicket boards and restock supplies at machine.
· Clean up around machine.
· Work in a safe and cautious manner
· Performs other related duties and assignments supporting the quality system as
· assigned.
· Maintain compliance with BRC requirements and the Product Safety and
· Quality Management System (PSQMS). Adhere to GMP requirements and report any
· potential food safety hazards as per procedure. Attend annual PSQMS training.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to read and write in English for daily reports and other specification sheets.
- Math and measurement skills are essential.
