Part-Time Cleaner
Job Title: Part-Time Cleaner
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Status: Part-Time | Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The St. Augustine – St. Johns County Airport Authority is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment across airport facilities. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who takes initiative and pride in their work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Clean and disinfect offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and public areas
· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces
· Empty trash and recycling and restock restroom supplies
· Clean windows, doors, mirrors, and glass surfaces
· Safely use cleaning tools, supplies, and chemicals
· Report maintenance issues or supply needs promptly
· Ensure all cleaning is completed efficiently and to high standards
Deep cleaning as needed
Schedule:
- Wednesday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (24 hours per week)
- Some flexibility may be available based on operational needs
- Overtime opportunities
Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license
· Clean background check required
· Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks
· Dependable, self-directed, and attentive to detail
Work Environment:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor environments, including restrooms, offices, and common-use areas
- Use of standard cleaning equipment and chemicals
- May involve early morning work in low-light or quiet settings
