Role Description
The Diocese of Orlando seeks a full-time K-8 Teacher to join its education mission on-site in Orlando, FL. The teacher will develop lesson plans, deliver effective instruction, and create a positive classroom environment that fosters spiritual, academic, and social growth for students. Responsibilities include assessing student performance, tailoring instructional methods to diverse learning needs, communicating with parents and guardians, and collaborating with colleagues to implement the mission and values of the Diocese. Teachers are also expected to integrate the Catholic faith into lessons and model Christian values in their interactions with students and the community.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional skills in curriculum planning, lesson delivery, and classroom management.
- Understanding of student development and learning styles, with the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Knowledge of faith-based education and the ability to integrate Catholic values into learning experiences.
