Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable semi truck, dump truck, and roll off truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks and other heavy equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and dirt to various construction sites.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with construction teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Assist in excavation operations as needed, including the use of loader, excavator, skid steer, and shovel for site preparation.
- Operate snow plowing equipment in winter month.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required and MUST HAVE 3 years of driving experience and be over 23 years old.
- Experience operating dump trucks in a construction environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with excavation operations and other heavy machinery is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while following safety guidelines.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with site supervisors and crew members.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks such as digging and building when necessary.
