We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team at St. John’s School. St. John’s School is a Christian, ELC through 8th Grade school that has been serving the Denver area for over 140 years. As an extension of St. John’s Church, we pride ourselves on creating an environment where children grow in their faith, excel in their education, and thrive in community. As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting St. John’s School (ELC-8th Grade) to prospective families and the broader community, increasing awareness of our programs, and supporting enrollment initiatives. You will create compelling communications across digital and print platforms, coordinate events, and collaborate with staff to tell the story of our school in a way that reflects our Christian values and mission and positively influences enrollment and retention. This role offers the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on both the school and the families we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Storytelling & Reputation Building
- Create and maintain brand standards and expectations in all communications.
- Develop and maintain a compelling storyline that showcases the school’s mission, values, and successes.
- Identify opportunities to share our story and reinforce St. John’s reputation in the targeted
community.
Increase Targeted Awareness
- Maintain and update the school website with accurate information, stories, and testimonials.
- Manage social media accounts and targeted digital advertising campaigns.
- Develop print and digital promotional materials to support school programs and events.
- Build community partnerships and engage local media to share school stories.
Support Enrollment & Prospective Families
- Plan and execute open houses, school tours, and other enrollment events in partnership with key personnel.
- Implement and manage parent referral initiatives.
- Assist families with admissions information, including financial aid options.
Strengthen Community & Retention
- Assist with events that foster family engagement and school community.
- Highlight student achievements and programs through video, photography, and newsletters.
- Utilize parent feedback from surveys to inform marketing and community strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in education or nonprofit organizations.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, website management, and email marketing tools.
- Experience with SEO and digital advertising is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Benefits and Compensation
St. John’s School offers compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a salary for this position of up to $40,000 per year. Staff children enrolled at St. John’s School who are members of St. John’s Church may be eligible for a tuition credit of up to $10,700 annually per policy. This role also allows for a significant amount of work from home, providing flexibility in how you manage your schedule.
