What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher position at St. John's Rainbow Trail Child Care Center?
We are a well-established childcare center in Stroudsburg, that has been open for 41 years and we are looking for a childcare worker(s) to join our team.
This is a permanent position, and you will be taking care of children varying in age (infants though school age, depending on what is needed from week to week). A key part of the role is planning, implementing and evaluating a high quality, flexible and innovative educational program for children.
Having experience and/or a degree in ECE/El.Ed. is a plus, and will reflect in higher pay, but is not required.
To succeed in this position you will need:
- all required clearances (child abuse, criminal background & FBI)
- a genuine interest in working with children
- the ability to form warm, responsive relationships with children
- a positive, friendly attitude
- high-level verbal and written communication skills
- initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision.
