Custodian Job Description: To serve the church/school by providing custodial services to the church/school buildings. This position currently reports to the Facilities Manager.Duties of employee: Daily Activities for Classrooms, Cafeteria, Gym, Trailers & School Officeo Vacuum & Mop floors- dailyo Empty trash- dailyo Dusting- as neededo Windows- as needed Daily Activities for Libraryo Dusting- as neededo Vacuum- dailyo Empty trash- dailyDaily Activities for Main Hallwayo Vacuum & mop floors- dailyo Dusting- as neededo Windows- as neededDaily Activities for bathrooms: Main, Workroom, Hallway, Downstairs, Lisa Room, Alex Roomo Mop floors- dailyo Empty trash- dailyo Clean/disinfect toilets- dailyo Replace paper products- dailyQualifications: Hold a minimum of a high school diploma or Graduate Equivalent Degree (GED)Be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.Successful candidates must complete and pass the required BCI II/FBI background check.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use their hands, stoop, kneel or crouch.
