Expected hours: 12-16 hours per week

Shift: 3:30-7:30

POSITION SUMMARY:

Dining Room Server welcomes the residents/tenants to the dining area and assists them to receive meals and ensures their dining experience is pleasurable by using a customer-oriented approach, offering them a variety of food choices, being aware of their needs and wants and keeping dining area clean and safe.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet each resident/tenant and family member making them feel welcome.

• Set up tables and dining area, with attention to cleanliness and order.

• Food preparation and food presentation on plate and table

. • Serve the food to the residents in a timely manner and ensure they have their own food choices met.

• Clean up dining areas, collecting plates, dishes etc., including washing tables and surrounding workstation. Making sure it is ready to use for the next meal or event.

• Discard leftovers and garbage removal.

• Clean food stations and wash dishes, silverware, cooking utensils etc. Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances clean and good working condition in highest standards.

• Store equipment and replenish food and nonfood items.

• Practices safe work habits always and report any possible safety hazards.

• May be required to work at other the campus, as needed, to assure residents/tenants needs are met.

• All other duties assigned to assure the dining experienced by residents/tenants is pleasurable, safe, and clean.
