What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Coach/Instructor position at St. John Paul II Catholic High School?
St. John Paul II Catholic High School provides summer camp experiences in a variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular areas aimed at introducing grade school students to the mission of St. John Paul II Catholic High School.
The Summer Camp Instructor provides instructor and/or coaching summer camp students in a designated area within academics, athletics, and/or extracurriculars. The Summer Camp Coordinator is responsible for developing a plan for the week’s activities that aligns with the purpose of the camp and the mission of St. John Paul II Catholic High School. The Summer Camp Instructor reports to the Director of Advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leads camp students in prayer at the beginning of each day
- Plans and prepares for daily activities of each camp
- Coordinates with the Director of Advancement for access to needed facilities and equipment
- Provides guidance and direction to student volunteers
- Is responsible for the supervision of camp students during camp hours
Summer Camp Dates & Schedule:
- JP2 Summer Camps will run weekly from Monday, June 1 to June 26
- Summer Camp Instructors will receive a daily schedule and room assignments the week before their respective camp
