About Us
St. John Neumann Church is a vibrant Catholic parish committed to serving our community through worship, education, and outreach. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Manager to help maintain our church campus and support parish events.
Job Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for the upkeep, safety, and functionality of all parish buildings and grounds. This hands-on role includes general maintenance, vendor coordination, event setup, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee maintenance and repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Coordinate with contractors and janitorial services
- Set up and break down rooms for parish events
- Monitor building systems and ensure safety compliance
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs (on-call)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of facilities or maintenance experience
- HVAC certification or 5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
