Job Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming telephone calls to campus and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Monitor intrusion detection and fire surveillance system as well as notify the Monroe County 911 Center for emergency response as needed.
- Maintain contact with university departments for after hour emergency maintenance requests
- Maintain radio communications with on-duty security officers and operate a multi-line telephone system
- Complete data entry daily for online reporting systems
- Perform credit/debit card transactions
- Monitor on campus shuttle and prepare statistical ride data for the Director
- Assist with department lost and found
- Use the RAVE Alert System to send out campus wide notifications
- Other clerical tasks/duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
Education / Experience
Required:
- High School Diploma
Competencies / Skills
Must have excellent communication skills, experience with Microsoft Windows based programs, Microsoft Office. Ability to multi-task and remain focused during emergencies.
