Delivery Driver

1. Safety
   1. Road Safety
      1. The Delivery driver will understand and obey all DOT & Traffic Laws
      2. The Delivery driver understands that they operate a heavy piece of equipment and will operate the equipment in a controlled manner to ensure that they and other people on the road go home safe.
   2. Property Safety
      1. The Delivery driver will ensure that St Joe Petroleum and customer property is treated well and safely.
      2. The Delivery driver will document and communicate maintenance issues on pre-trip/post-trip checklists and when relevant before the shift is over to St Joe Petroleum dispatch.
   3. Product Safety
      1. The Delivery driver understands that they are handling thousands of dollars worth of inventory multiple times per day and will be diligent in ensuring that product is kept clean, safe, and contained.
2. The Delivery driver will be an effective communicator
   1. The Delivery driver will not hesitate to ask for help
   2. The Delivery driver will communicate delivery plans, route changes, when issues arrive at the loading or unloading location, and advice about roads/terminals/or delivery points to relevant St Joe Petroleum dispatch.
   3. The Delivery driver will respond in a timely manner to requests, questions, concerns, and directions to St Joe Petroleum staff.
3. Team Player
   1. The Delivery driver will be expected to be a team player and help St Joe Petroleum staff as they work to accomplish their various initiatives.
4. Flexibility
   1. The Delivery driver will be expected to slip seat with other St Joe Petroleum delivery drivers.
   2. The Delivery driver will be expected to show flexibility in the type of vehicle they drive and the type of deliveries that they will make.
   3. The Delivery driver will be expected to work with a semi-shifting schedule including start/end time and days worked.
5. Cleanliness
   1. The Delivery driver will be expected to keep St Joe Petroleum equipment clean and to keep themselves in a presentable manner.
6. Delivery
   1. The Delivery driver will deliver to internal and external customer destinations per the site manager’s instruction.
   2. The Delivery driver will be expected to unload product using a pallet jack, lift gate, and pump.
7. Customer Order Fulfillment
   1. The Delivery driver will fulfill customer orders per the site manager’s instruction.
   2. Product Receipt
      1. The Delivery driver will ensure that product is received in a clean manor from transports and box trucks. The Delivery driver will need to operate a forklift.
   3. Bulk to pails/drums/totes
      1. The Delivery driver will fill pails, drums, and totes per the site manager’s instruction
   4. Order Preparation
      1. Responsible for making sure customer pickups are made available in a timely manner
      2. Responsible for making sure customer deliveries are safely loaded and shipped out in a timely manner
   5. Propane Filling---after certification
      1. The Delivery driver will ensure customer propane will call and delivery orders are fulfilled by qualified personnel.
8. Inventory Counts
   1. The Delivery driver will assist in inventory counts
9. Special Projects
   1. Special projects could include maintenance, equipment setups, delivery (all as time allows)
