Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care.
- Foster positive communication with children, parents, and fellow staff.
- Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, meals, and routines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, including diapering and handwashing supervision.
- Provide direct care and support to children, including extended care students.
- Adhere to all policies and standards set by Scott County Catholic Schools, the Diocese of Davenport, and the Department of Human Services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Active First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Must pass DHS-required physical and maintain good standing with periodic training.
