The resource teacher will have the following responsibilities:
- Assessing students' reading abilities and identifying areas for improvement
- Developing and implementing individualized reading plans
- Utilizing diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Providing one-on-one or small group reading instruction
- Tracking and reporting on student progress
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to integrate reading strategies into daily lessons
- Selecting and using appropriate instructional materials and resources
- Organizing literacy activities and programs to promote reading
- Engaging with parents and guardians to support students' reading development
- Conducting regular assessments to evaluate reading progress
