Job Duties
The Resident Services Coordinator provides administrative and resident related support for the Director of Resident Services and serves as a liaison for Independent Living (IL) resident concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or business-related courses preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in office-administrative functions.
- Strong computer and clerical skills required, including working knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
- Experience in working with the senior population and/or the long-term care or retirement industries preferred.
- Experience with AOD (MatrixCare) a plus.
Essential Functions
Resident Services Support
- Facilitates response to resident needs and addresses issues as appropriate for residents and the department.
- Provides support as needed in helping new residents acclimate into the community.
- Performs final walk-throughs with families for residents transitioning out of independent living.
- Updates resident information in the resident management software (AOD-MatrixCare).
- Assists with updates to IL resident medicine bottle information.
- Updates resident information on public drive and other areas.
- Completes budget tracking for Resident Services and Pastoral Services.
- Completes ADT emails and AOD updates for Independent Living residents as needed.
- Sends monthly emergency update reminder memos to IL residents.
- Prepares and distributes resident death notices/flowers in absence of pastor.
- Coordinates and maintains parking spot assignments for residents, staff and visitors.
- Coordinates and maintains SJP storage records.
- Coordinates new resident photos for album and materials for new resident move-ins.
- Maintains pet registration records and mobie registration records.
- Completes Event Function Sheets for room set ups for Resident Services Activities and assist with resident services events as needed.
Additional Duties:
- Communicates resident concerns to the Director of Resident Services as appropriate.
- Serves as liaison between Directors of Resident Services and residents, families, vendors and visitors.
- Provides written and verbal correspondence independently or as directed.
- Receives, screens, and facilitates phone calls.
- Completes errands and courier tasks as needed.
- Orders and maintains office supplies.
- Assists with other duties as needed to support resident services.
Ability to Maintain Required Work Hours
- May require working long hours or hours outside of the normal work week.
- MAY BE DESIGNATED ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL IN THE EVENT OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS, INCLUDING HURRICANES, EVACUATION, FIRE, FLOOD, ETC., AND BE REQUIRED TO REMAIN ON CAMPUS FOR THE DURATION OF THE EMERGENCY.
