Job Summary:
St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s School seeks an experienced Lead Upper Elementary Teacher, starting in September 2026. We seek an enthusiastic and collegial teacher with experience in the middle elementary school grades.
The Lead Upper Elementary School Teacher is responsible for leading instructional practices within the upper division, ensuring high-quality education, and supporting both teachers and students in achieving academic excellence. This role combines classroom teaching with leadership duties, including curriculum development, staff mentoring, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in education, including a Master's degree and at least three years of teaching experience. They should be highly skilled at establishing effective rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. They should be dedicated to nurturing the passions and talents of their students; developing each student’s skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to build, assess, and integrate curriculum across disciplines. They should be dedicated to fostering student success and well-being beyond their classroom.
