Job Description
St. Henry Catholic Church is seeking an experienced, loving, and faith-driven Child Care/Preschool Director to lead our licensed Early Learning Center. Our facility's main goal is to provide a "Home Away From Home"—a loving family atmosphere dedicated to helping each child grow physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
The Director is responsible for the overall planning, supervision, and administration of the center, ensuring a high-quality, Christian-based program that aligns with the Parish's values.
- Leadership & Program Oversight: Oversee curriculum delivery and activities for all age groups (Toddler through School-Age), ensuring a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment. Provide on-site supervision for all staff.
- Administration & Compliance: Manage day-to-day operations, including enrollment, records, budget management, and facility maintenance. Ensure continuous compliance with all Illinois DCFS Licensing Standards (89 Ill. Adm. Code 407).
- Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring a minimum of 15 hours of annual in-service training for each team member.

Qualifications
- Must meet all current State of Illinois licensing requirements for a Child Care Director.
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood education leadership, program administration, and staff management.
