Full Charge Bookkeeper

This position is responsible for providing Prompt Bookkeeping and operational support to the Controller, Clubhouse Manager, Executive Chef, and Club Staff. This position requires the qualified candidate to project a positive outgoing personality. They must be proactive, possess strong organizational skills, and have the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.

Other duties & responsibilities:

· Perform Accounts Payable by processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, and processing payments

· Accounts Receivable by following up on members' inquiries

· Daily bank deposits and members' payments

· Monthly membership billing

· Monthly bank reconciliation

· Generate reports as requested

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

· Weekly payroll Processing

· Knowledge of pertinent federal and state employment laws and practices

· Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

· Strong communication skills with members and department heads

· Assist with online support for the members and other administrative duties as required.

· Must be extremely detail-oriented, have good organizational and motivational skills, and have the ability to work independently and with a team.

· Handle situations/matters confidentially and with discretion as well as be trusted to practice professionalism at all times.

· Capable of operating and using various word processing programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Paycom Payroll

· Ability to prioritize tasks

Qualifications Preferred:

· 3-4 years of full-charge bookkeeping or equivalent experience preferred

· Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree preferred

· Experience with the Jonas system is a plus

· Experience with Paycom Payroll is a plus

Work days: Monday to Friday with flexibility (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)

Pay Rate From $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
