Type: Salary, full time

 

Reporting: Reports to the Chief Business Officer

 

Duration: Letter of Agreement

 

Minimum Education: bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or human resources preferred

 

Experience:

·       Three or more years human resources and benefits administration experience required

·       Independent school experience required

·       Three years of accounting experience preferred

·       Experience with Paycom payroll software and Veracross student information system preferred

·       Experience with Google suite preferred


The successful candidate will possess skills and experience that would include the ability to:

·       Process monthly and semi-monthly payroll for all employees and post to general ledger

·       Collaborate with the Extended Day and Summer Programs Coordinator to process extended day and summer program employee payroll

·       Process claims related to workers compensation insurance

·       Administer and reconcile paperwork and information related to the school’s 403b retirement plan including posting the retirement plan contributions from payroll and administering the 403b loan program.

·       Prepare multiple worksite report on a quarterly basis

·       Prepare annual employment agreements for faculty using Docusign

·       Process new hire paperwork and onboard new hires

·       Reconcile and submit monthly benefit invoices for payment to Accounts Payable Clerk

·       Manage benefits administration by working closely with insurance brokers and the CBO to design plans and then communicate plan information to employees

·       Carry out benefits enrollment for new employees and at open enrollment each year and at mid-year hire dates

·       Work with CBO to manage areas of HR compliance

·       Assist supervisors with the annual employee evaluation process

·       Carry out duties and responsibilities confidentially and in an accurate and timely manner with personal initiative and minimal direction

·       Create and implement processes and procedures to streamline business office operations

·       Represent the school in a positive manner

·       Interface and maintain positive relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, parents/guardians, and students

·       Be highly organized and detail-oriented

·       Perform other accounting and human resource duties as assigned by the Chief Business Officer


 

Physical Requirements: Regularly sit, turn, bend, reach, walk, talk, hear and interact with campus visitors as well as others who telephone. Must have the ability to understand and present materials and communicate with constituents and co-workers in a harmonious manner.
