What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist/Check Out/In position at St. George OB/GYN?
Busy OB/GYN practice seeking highly motivated, friendly receptionist for patient check out/in. Must have computer knowledge/experience, organized and be able to multi-task. Medical experience preferred.
- Greet patients for multiple providers
- Schedule follow up appointments according to availability
- Collect payments/copays
- Prepare and send medical records
- Scan documents into EMR
- Prepare disability and FMLA forms
- Schedule referral appointments and fax/scan required documents
- Prepare letters for providers
- Maintain patient privacy according to HIPAA guidelines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
