BAKERY COUNTER ASSOCIATE / SERVER — PART-TIME St George · West Village, New York
St George is looking for a friendly, reliable team member to help with counter sales and service at our bakery and wine bar.
Schedule: Primarily Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, including evening wine bar shifts. No Sunday shifts.Base pay: $25–$27 per hour, depending on relevant experience.
Responsibilities: Welcome customers, take orders, and operate the register. Serve bread, pastries, and other bakery offerings. Bring food and drinks, including wine, to tables. Clear and clean tables. Restock displays and service areas. Help with daily cleaning and keep the shop tidy and organized.
What we’re looking for: A welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach. English communication skills sufficient to take orders and assist customers. French language skills are a plus for assisting French-speaking customers, but are not required. Previous bakery, café, or restaurant experience is a plus.
