St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is hiring for a Cook to work per diem.
Per Diem Requirements;
- Per Diem employees must accept and work at least two (2) shifts per month, one (1) of which being a weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday)
Cook Job Responsibilities:
- Menu Review: Review menus prior to food preparation.
- Diet Adjustments: Process diet changes and new diets as received from the nursing supervisor when necessary.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve meals that are both palatable and visually appealing.
- Compliance: Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations and our established policies and procedures.

Requirements
- HS diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
- Must have knowledge of sanitary procedures
- Working every other weekend is a requirement
- Prior food service experience is required;
- ServSafe Certification is preferred.
