St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic and faith-filled teachers for Grade 2 and Grade 5 for the 2026–2027 academic year. Our school community is committed to academic excellence, strong character formation, and fostering a Franciscan Catholic identity.
Qualifications:
- Possess or be eligible for Virginia teaching certification/licensure or certification through the Virginia Catholic Education Association (VCEA)
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and a willingness to actively support the mission of Catholic education
- Exhibit effective classroom management skills that foster a structured, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
- Communicate clearly and proactively with parents to support student growth and partnership between home and school
- Collaborate professionally and positively with colleagues and administration
