Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients recovering from general, regional, and local anesthesia through Phase I and Phase II recovery.
- Manage airway support, oxygenation, hemodynamic monitoring, and pain control per physician and anesthesia orders.
- Recognize and respond promptly to post-operative complications, escalating to anesthesia and surgical teams as needed.
- Administer medications, fluids, and blood products safely and accurately.
- Evaluate readiness for discharge or transfer using established recovery scoring criteria.
- Provide patient and family education on post-procedure care and recovery expectations.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with perioperative care standards.
- Uphold patient privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Current and valid RN license - required (license verification via Nursys).
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) - required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience - required.
- 07:00 - 19:00 (Days).
- 3x12, 36 hours per week guaranteed.
- Assignment dates: 09/13/2026 - 12/12/2026.
- On-call required.
- Olympia Fields, IL.
- $1764.00/week gross (36 guaranteed hours)
