Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to serve as a Parish Administratorfor our vibrant community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeingfacility management, coordinating the production of worship materials, providingassistance to the Rector and staff, and embodying a non-anxious, pastoral presencewithin the parish.Key Responsibilities:1. Facility Management:- Maintain and oversee the upkeep of the parish facilities, including schedulingmaintenance and repairs as needed.- Manage facility bookings for events, meetings, and other parish activities.- Ensure that the facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all parishioners andvisitors.- Manage inventory of supplies, ordering or procuring as necessary.2. Administrative Management:- Manage and oversee Realm Church Management Database (training provided).- Assist the Parish Treasurer with banking functions: Preparing deposits; directingmail and invoices; and inputting pledge payments to parishioner’s Realm accounts.3. Production of Worship Materials:- Coordinate the production and distribution of worship materials, including bulletins, newsletters, programs, and other printed materials.- Collaborate with clergy and other staff members to ensure that worship materialsare accurate and reflective of the parish's mission and values.4. Assistant to the Rector:- Provide administrative support to the Rector, including managing their schedule,handling correspondence, and assisting with clerical tasks.- Assist with the coordination of sacramental preparation, including schedulingbaptisms, weddings, and funerals.- Serve as a liaison between the priest and parishioners, conveying importantinformation and facilitating communication.5. Maintain a calm and respectful demeanor or manner:- Embody a non-anxious presence within the parish community, offering support andreassurance to parishioners during times of difficulty or crisis.- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where all feel valued and respected.- Work collaboratively with clergy, staff, and volunteers to promote a sense of unityand belonging within the parish.6. Computer Skills:Required: Windows OS, Google Workspace, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint,Excel, Publisher), Zoom.Preferred: Constant Contact, Squarespace, and Facebook.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.- Previous experience in facility management, administration, or a related field.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.- Commitment to the mission and values of the parish community.Compensation:- Prefer Full Time, ¾ Time possible for right candidate- Up to $21.00/Hr.
