Description of District / Program
St. Francis Area School District is located 40 minutes north of the metro. We educate 4,200 students annually, including over 145 English Language Learners. We employ three EL teachers to provide educational services across our three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and two alternative buildings. The multilingual teacher is responsible to instruct multilingual students at grades 6-8. The models currently in use are co-teaching and an EL pullout into a classroom.
