Position provides the day to day supervision of the Environmental Services department staff.

Job Description
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of a group of employees.
- Delegate and check daily assignments. Prioritize and delegate tasks and projects within the department. Schedule appropriate coverage when necessary. Provide technical guidance on more complex issues.
- Create and supervise work schedules, vacation schedules, time off and overtime, training qualifications and meetings.
- Hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, assign, reward, discipline, direct associates, or address an associate’s concerns/complaints.
- Communicate with customers, patients and staff as needed to facilitate good customer satisfaction.
- Under the direction of the Manager, provide input on how to perform task and how to achieve the goals. Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) studies; data collection and support action plans.
- Act as a positive example for those working with them. Assist in training new associates.
- Assist with resourceful use of labor, supplies and equipment to meet organizational and departmental financial goals.
- Compliant with all local, state, federal and medical center regulatory, safety and department standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
