Pay Range
$54.43 - $71.33 /hour

- Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care
- Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel
- Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate
- Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate
- Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems
- Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching
The Staff RN is a licensed professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current CA RN licensure
- One year recent critical care or emergency department experience required (may consider training if current staff skillset and experience allows)
- Working knowledge of basic dysrhythmia
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Advanced dysrhythmia interpretation
