Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education.
- Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles of children.
- Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive social interactions among students.
- Conduct assessments and utilize standardized testing to track student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development, progress, and any concerns.
- Maintain records of children's progress, attendance, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience within the school setting.
Requirements
- Part-Time Position - Mandatory Hours 6:15am-10:30am Monday-Friday
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Associates Degree in Early Childcare Education preferred (will consider applicants with their ECE teacher certifications through the State of Wisconsin or CDA or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment)
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Experience in behavior management techniques and child welfare practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when needed.
