Our Montessori Children’s House serves children ages 33 months to kindergarten with hands-on, child-centered learning.
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified individual to join our team full-time at the Montessori Children's House. Candidates may qualify for this position as either a Teacher or Assistant Teacher under Minnesota Rule 3 Child Care Licensing—or be eligible for a DHS variance.
Position Summary:
This position supports the growth of young learners in a Montessori environment and provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced educators in a nurturing, mission-driven setting.
Required Qualifications:
Must meet one of the following:
✅ Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and six months of related experience
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field
✅ Montessori Certification (AMI/AMS or equivalent)
Applicants who are near qualification may be considered for a DHS variance.
Additional Expectations:
- If not already trained in the Montessori method, candidates must be willing to learn about it and implement Montessori principles to the best of their abilities.
- On-the-job support and guidance will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with children ages 3–6
- Familiarity with the Montessori method
- A heart for faith-based education and young learners
- Practicing Catholic preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22,500.00 - $35,000.00 per year
