Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards in literacy, math, religion, science, and social studies.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and individual student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students' social and emotional growth through proactive behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and parents to monitor student progress and tailor instructional approaches.
- Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and maintaining a safe, welcoming space.
- Incorporate best practices in early childhood education, including Montessori or preschool methodologies when appropriate.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in elementary or preschool settings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies.
The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic who holds an Ohio teacher license.
