What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary School Teacher position at St. Dominic School?
St. Dominic Catholic School is seeking a full-time, faith-filled, energetic 2nd grade teacher to join our wonderful staff family. Candidates are responsible for conducting instructional classes aligning with the Mission Statement, philosophy and curriculum of St. Dominic Catholic School, as well as Minnesota State Academic Standards in Literacy (Believe and Read/Groves--training and support provided), Math, Religion, Social Studies and Science.
Experienced candidates are preferred, but candidates new to the teaching profession are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree - BA or higher.
- Prefer a practicing Catholic.
- Current Minnesota teaching licensure in the area of employment.
- Competent in instructional methods and knowledge of subject matter being taught.
- Ability to maintain environment conducive to learning
- Work collaboratively with staff.
- Ability to demonstrate/willingness to learn technology skills as the position demands.
- Polished and professional.
